Verified on build#1175 (Version: 4.0.0-SNAPSHOT Build Number: a90faf9) Created an compatible group of Apache resource and defined an alert on the resource group. It displays only one alert definition. Created another alert definition. The group view displays only one row per alert definition. Please refer the attached screen-shot. Closing the bug for now as the bug could not be reproduced on build#1175. Created attachment 494907 [details]

Created attachment 494888 [details] Screenshot of the apparently duplicate definitions. I have a group consisting of one resource and two alerts defined on it. The group view shows two identical rows per alert definition. Hovering the name, shows that those are different entries and one is apparently the dependent definition on single resource level. The latter should not be shown on the group level (iirc correctly from RHQ 3) - or at least marked as resource level definitions.
