If you would like it considered as an exception in the current release, please ask your support representative. well this is clearly not a gnome-desktop issue. I'm assuming it's some sort of problem with the keyboard layout, but without digging more I'm not sure. Throwing to whot for now. What is your actual keyboard configuration and where did you select "cyprus"? What is the output of setxkbmap -print and "xkbcomp -xkb :0 -"? In the login screen, bottom bar, where you can select KDE or gnome. I choose "Ελληνικά Σύγχρονα (Κύπρος)" = "Greek Modern (Cyprus)"
