Description Sam Varshavchik 2002-07-28 18:00:42 UTC
Under heavy CPU and disk load the system became unstable after logging this
message to syslog. Some processes were getting stuck in an unkillable state
(ps, top). reboot -f succeeded and the machine recovered.

Linux ny.email-scan.com 2.4.18-5smp #1 SMP Mon Jun 10 15:19:40 EDT 2002 i686 unknown

This bug still exists in 8.0, with the errata kernel.

Thanks for the bug report. However, Red Hat no longer maintains this version of
the product. Please upgrade to the latest version and open a new bug if the problem
persists.

The Fedora Legacy project (http://fedoralegacy.org/) maintains some older releases,
and if you believe this bug is interesting to them, please report the problem in
the bug tracker at: http://bugzilla.fedora.us/
