Downgrading to 3.0.0 did not restore access to search folders either. This is a serious productivity problem. I'm sure I'm not the only person who relies on search folders to keep track of email. Thanks for a bug report. I repeated your steps, basically: a) Run evolution, Help->About shows Evolution 3.0.0 b) Created one search folder; have a new ~/.config/evolution/mail/vfolders.xml c) Close evolution and make sure all evolution processes are not running d) yum update evolution e) Run evolution, Help->About shows Evolution 3.0.1 f) The search folder from b) is there, same as the config file didn't change I do not see how this could happen, but surely something with your ~/.config folder happened. For reasons I cannot explain, this morning I turned on Evolution and my search folders had reappeared and were working again. I have not updated any packages on my system. Hrm, pity. I'm closing this bug then, but please reopen it in case you'll face the issue again, we'll investigate further what is going wrong. |
