Description John Webster 2011-04-27 22:49:27 UTC
Since the most recent (27 April 2011) round of updates, duplicate application icons have begun to appear both in the application overview and in the category views. There seem to be few if any common factors amongst applications which are affected. At the moment, for example, I can see duplicates for Archive Manager, ABRT, Character Map,Dictionary, Document Viewer, gedit, Mines, Password and Encryption, Release Notes,Software Updates, Take Screenshot and Users and Groups. However, the list will change somewhat when I next log out and/or restart.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
3.0.1

How reproducible:
Every time, but applications affected vary

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Boot Fedora 15 (Kernel 2.6.38.3-18.fc15.i686)
2.Click on Activities>Applications
3.

Actual results:
Random duplicate icons

Expected results:
One icon per application
