Description Kirby Zhou 2011-04-28 06:55:55 UTC
Description of problem:

RFE: add TRIM support to lvm and xfs.

Now, RHEL6 can only support SSD Trim feature on ext4 filesystem based on rawdisk or partition. But XFS and LVM are widely used. We need the support of TRIM being added into XFS and LVM.

Especially, Trim on XFS is more important than Trim on LVM.
