Description nucleo 2011-04-28 18:32:22 UTC
It was reported that power consumption raised significantly with 2.6.38.x kernels:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/760131

I can't confirm this bug but it is mentioned in launchpad that this is upstream bug so it may affect on Fedora 15 kernel.

Comment 1 Adam Jackson 2011-04-28 18:34:04 UTC
Please provide data in the form of power metrics with both F14 and F15 kernels. (F14 userspace for both is probably best so as to minimize component variation.)

Comment 2 Matthew Garrett 2011-04-28 18:35:02 UTC
Please reopen if shown to affect Fedora.

Comment 3 nucleo 2011-04-28 18:39:10 UTC
I don't have installed Fedora 15.
Hope that someone running F15 can do this.
