Description Paul Lambert 2011-04-28 21:16:28 UTC
Description of problem: when using Firefox I cannot use the pull down menus nor does cookie information display when invoked

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
kernel.x86_64 2.6.35.12-90.fc14
firefox.x86_64 3.6.16-1.fc14

How reproducible: every time since recent update

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Actual results:

Expected results: This is rudimentary functionality and it is expected that software updates would not break something this basic.

Additional info: This has occurred several times with FF after upgrading packages but not upgrading FF. Whoever is working on the related code needs to be advised on how to update code without breaking such basic functionality. The pull down menus do work correctly when using OpenOffice applications.

Comment 1 Paul Lambert 2011-05-04 01:20:01 UTC
Subsequent package updates have fixed this bug. The updates were not to the kernel or FF but to some underlying interface support package.

I recommend closing this bug.
