Description Levente Farkas 2011-04-30 22:16:38 UTC
hi,
is there any good reason why rh remove joystick support from rhel-6's kernel? imho it was a very basic feature even in the dos age. it was supported in rhel-5, so why removed in rhel-6? in this case it's very natural that rhel-6's workstation is not really usable, so most people will switch to fedora and after the two fast development, very unstable releases and features like pulseaudio and systemd too early introduction most people will switch to ubuntu...
i hope someone will change this ugly decision soon...

Since RHEL 6.1 External Beta has begun, and this bug remains
unresolved, it has been rejected as it is not proposed as
exception or blocker.

Red Hat invites you to ask your support representative to
propose this request, if appropriate and relevant, in the
next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
