Description David Wood 2011-05-01 21:49:24 UTC
Description of problem:
When opening the networks menu in gnome-shell, my wireless card does not appear in the list of devices, and the icon shows that I am not connected to a network, but opening the network settings in system settings shows the wireless device, and allows me to connect to a network.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
$ rpm -qa
NetworkManager-0.8.998-4.git20110427.fc15.x86_64

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click the network icon on the panel.
2. Only a wired network device is shown.
3. Click "Network Settings".
4. Both a wired and wireless device are shown.

Actual results:
The panel menu shows a wired device, but the network settings shows a wired and wireless device.

Expected results:
Both the panel menu and network settings should show a wired and wireless device.
