SELinux is preventing /usr/libexec/cups-pk-helper-mechanism from 'read' accesses on the lnk_file 4dbeb5684f07a. ***** Plugin catchall (100. confidence) suggests *************************** If you believe that cups-pk-helper-mechanism should be allowed read access on the 4dbeb5684f07a lnk_file by default. Then you should report this as a bug. You can generate a local policy module to allow this access. Do allow this access for now by executing: # grep cups-pk-helper- /var/log/audit/audit.log | audit2allow -M mypol # semodule -i mypol.pp Additional Information: Source Context system_u:system_r:cupsd_config_t:s0-s0:c0.c1023 Target Context unconfined_u:object_r:user_tmp_t:s0 Target Objects 4dbeb5684f07a [ lnk_file ] Source cups-pk-helper- Source Path /usr/libexec/cups-pk-helper-mechanism Port <Unknown> Host (removed) Source RPM Packages cups-pk-helper-0.1.2-1.fc15 Target RPM Packages Policy RPM selinux-policy-3.9.16-18.fc15 Selinux Enabled True Policy Type targeted Enforcing Mode Enforcing Host Name (removed) Platform Linux (removed) 2.6.38.3-18.fc15.x86_64 #1 SMP Fri Apr 22 13:24:23 UTC 2011 x86_64 x86_64 Alert Count 1 First Seen Mon 02 May 2011 08:45:12 AM CDT Last Seen Mon 02 May 2011 08:45:12 AM CDT Local ID 4258b502-6594-491c-acb5-85a652d93a74 Raw Audit Messages type=AVC msg=audit(1304343912.423:215): avc: denied { read } for pid=24573 comm="cups-pk-helper-" name="4dbeb5684f07a" dev=dm-2 ino=2368445 scontext=system_u:system_r:cupsd_config_t:s0-s0:c0.c1023 tcontext=unconfined_u:object_r:user_tmp_t:s0 tclass=lnk_file type=SYSCALL msg=audit(1304343912.423:215): arch=x86_64 syscall=open success=no exit=EACCES a0=1f24d40 a1=0 a2=409123 a3=1f3b6d0 items=0 ppid=1 pid=24573 auid=4294967295 uid=0 gid=0 euid=0 suid=0 fsuid=0 egid=0 sgid=0 fsgid=0 tty=(none) ses=4294967295 comm=cups-pk-helper- exe=/usr/libexec/cups-pk-helper-mechanism subj=system_u:system_r:cupsd_config_t:s0-s0:c0.c1023 key=(null) Hash: cups-pk-helper-,cupsd_config_t,user_tmp_t,lnk_file,read audit2allow #============= cupsd_config_t ============== allow cupsd_config_t user_tmp_t:lnk_file read; audit2allow -R #============= cupsd_config_t ============== allow cupsd_config_t user_tmp_t:lnk_file read;
