Description Robin Green 2011-05-03 17:22:14 UTC
# mount -t nilfs2 /dev/nbd1 /media/fedora/src
mount.nilfs2: cannot modify /etc/mtab.
Please remount the partition with -f option after making /etc/mtab writable.
nilfs_cleanerd not started

But /etc/mtab is now a symlink, which just exists for the benefit of legacy code which expects to be able to read it.

wow, somebody uses nilfs? :)

Can you try nilfs-utils from rawhide just in case it's been fixed? 2.0.23 is actually building right now.

TBH I package nilfs-utils and that's about it. If you use it, asking about this upstream would be fantastic. Feel free to cc: me and I'll happily pull back any patches that appear.

This will need to be resolved upstream.
