Comment 2 Mamoru TASAKA 2011-05-04 01:43:04 UTC
You seems to be using X driver /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/dri/fglrx_dri.so, however I don't know where this driver comes from (current X related packages no longer uses /usr/X11R6). Would you remove old drivers and try again?

Comment 3 enzo 2011-05-06 19:33:40 UTC
Package: xscreensaver-gl-extras-1:5.13-1.fc14
Architecture: i686
OS Release: Fedora release 14 (Laughlin)

How to reproduce
-----
1.
2.
3.
I don't know.
It simply crashed

Comment 4 Mamoru TASAKA 2011-05-07 00:25:37 UTC
Again would you remove old driver first?

Comment 5 enzo 2011-05-07 19:52:54 UTC
the driver fglrx_dri seems to be used by Xorg

[root@enzo7 images]# lsof /usr/lib/dri/fglrx_dri.so
lsof: WARNING: can't stat() fuse.gvfs-fuse-daemon file system /home/enzo/.gvfs
      Output information may be incomplete.
COMMAND PID USER FD TYPE DEVICE SIZE/OFF NODE NAME
Xorg 6517 root mem REG 8,1 30417476 130101 /usr/lib/dri/fglrx_dri.so

I have tried to remove the fglrx_dri.so driver, but witout it mirrorblob crashed when it try to start

[root@enzo7 images]# mv /usr/lib/dri/fglrx_dri.so /tmp

[root@enzo7 images]# /usr/libexec/xscreensaver/mirrorblob
mirrorblob: draw_scene error: invalid operation

While using the driver I give the erroro only when the program exit.

[root@enzo7 images]# mv /tmp/fglrx_dri.so /usr/lib/dri/
[root@enzo7 images]# /usr/libexec/xscreensaver/mirrorblob

Comment 6 Fedora End Of Life 2012-08-16 14:48:30 UTC
This message is a notice that Fedora 14 is now at end of life. Fedora
has stopped maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 14. It is
Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no
longer maintained. At this time, all open bugs with a Fedora 'version'
of '14' have been closed as WONTFIX.

(Please note: Our normal process is to give advanced warning of this
occurring, but we forgot to do that. A thousand apologies.)

Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you
plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, feel free to reopen
this bug and simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version.

Bug Reporter: Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that
we were unable to fix it before Fedora 14 reached end of life. If you
would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it
against a later version of Fedora, you are encouraged to click on
"Clone This Bug" (top right of this page) and open it against that
version of Fedora.

Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's
lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a
more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes
bugs or makes them obsolete.

The process we are following is described here:
