Description Ankur Sinha (FranciscoD) 2011-05-04 16:57:31 UTC
SELinux is preventing /usr/lib64/chromium-browser/chrome-sandbox from 'getattr' accesses on the directory /proc/<pid>.

***** Plugin catchall_labels (83.8 confidence) suggests ********************

If you want to allow chrome-sandbox to have getattr access on the <pid> directory
Then you need to change the label on /proc/<pid>
Do
# semanage fcontext -a -t FILE_TYPE '/proc/<pid>'
where FILE_TYPE is one of the following: sysctl_t, abrt_t, bin_t, sysctl_kernel_t, home_root_t, lib_t, mnt_t, root_t, nscd_var_run_t, tmp_t, usr_t, var_t, unconfined_execmem_t, device_t, user_usertype, etc_t, proc_t, cgroup_t, textrel_shlib_t, sysctl_t, staff_usertype, bin_t, cert_t, lib_t, rpm_script_tmp_t, tmp_t, user_home_dir_t, usr_t, var_t, security_t, xguest_usertype, device_t, locale_t, etc_t, fonts_t, default_t, user_fonts_t, user_tmpfs_t, proc_t, sosreport_tmp_t, sysfs_t, tmpfs_t, config_home_t, rpm_tmp_t, var_run_t, fonts_cache_t, chrome_sandbox_tmpfs_t, user_fonts_cache_t, user_fonts_config_t, rpm_log_t, var_log_t, var_run_t, xdm_tmp_t, abrt_var_run_t, chrome_sandbox_tmp_t, sysadm_usertype, unconfined_usertype, sysctl_crypto_t, avahi_var_run_t, xdm_var_run_t, setrans_var_run_t, net_conf_t, chrome_sandbox_t, staff_execmem_t, user_execmem_t, device_t.
Then execute:
restorecon -v '/proc/<pid>'

***** Plugin catchall (17.1 confidence) suggests ***************************

If you believe that chrome-sandbox should be allowed getattr access on the <pid> directory by default.
Then you should report this as a bug.
You can generate a local policy module to allow this access.
Do
allow this access for now by executing:
# grep chrome-sandbox /var/log/audit/audit.log | audit2allow -M mypol
# semodule -i mypol.pp
