Description Hedayat Vatankhah 2011-05-05 10:57:22 UTC
Description of problem:
fedora-policytool.desktop and fedora-jconsole.desktop try to run corresponding applications from /usr/bin/ rather than /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.6.0-openjdk-1.6.0.0.x86_64/bin

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
java-1.6.0-openjdk-devel-1.6.0.0-52.1.9.7.fc14.x86_64

How reproducible:
100%

Actual results:
Corresponding menu entries doesn't work

Expected results:
They should run the applications.

Comment 1 jiri vanek 2011-05-13 11:46:24 UTC
As those files are linked to alternatives, this behaviour is correct and they are working as expected from any working directory.

Comment 2 Hedayat Vatankhah 2011-05-13 13:36:40 UTC
I don't know why, but on my system they are NOT linked to alternatives, and they don't work at all. While I don't remember to be played with alternatives specially for this application, it is OK if I'm the only one who has encountered this problem!
