Greetings BZ team!

Currently when filing a bug, the severity field is show, but the "priority" field isn't, unless the user clicks "show advanced fields". Now that we're defaulting to "unspecified" for the priority and severity fields, we're seeing a lot of GSS bugs not being filed properly in that the priority fields aren't set. This is because associates aren't clicking "show advanced fields".

I'd like to request that the priority field be shown/available in the non-advanced fields view. Is that possible?

HI ,

Looking at this request, basically if the user sets their bug report entry form once to Show advanced fields, this will make it always show the advanced fields, so maybe you can ask the GSS team to do this .. we don't really want to change the behavior because this is an upstream standard. so showing advanced fields once will make it persistent to always show all fields unless you set it back to hide advanced fields.
