---Problem Description---
rhel 6.1 snap4 guest fails to resume after suspend to disk

 
---uname output---
2.6.32-131.0.1.el6.x86_64
 
Machine Type = hs22 
 
 ---Steps to Reproduce---
 1)boot up rhel6.1  guest
2) suspend to disk, using the following command
echo disk > /sys/power/state
3) boot up the guest again
resume fails to boot up the guest with a blank screen

Userspace tool common name: qemu-kvm 


Kernel version:
2.6.32-131.0.1.el6.x86_64
Qemu version:
qemu-kvm-0.12.1.2-2.158.el6.x86_64

Guest OS: RHEL 6.1 32bit guest

Hello,IBM

According to bug 609286 ._Linux_ virtio drivers do not support
power management now . Windows virtio drivers support it.

Could you try RHEL6.1 RC guest with IDE disk /e1000 nic /balloon=none ?

I tried with ide, e1000.  Still i hit this issue on RC2 build

What was your command line with ide and e1000?
