Description Chris Ward 2011-05-09 10:14:53 UTC
Description of problem:

Bug 580566 - (EPM6.1) EPM RHEL 6.1 Flat tracker

This bug is aliased as EPM6.1.

Control:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/buglist.cgi?query_format=advanced&field0-0-0=blocked&type0-0-0=substring&value0-0-0=580566

Test:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/buglist.cgi?query_format=advanced&field0-0-0=blocked&type0-0-0=substring&value0-0-0=EPM6.1

When i try the test query, i get zero results, where i would expect to get the same results as in the control.

Is there a different method to execute this search using alias instead of bz#?

If not, then this is a feature request :)

Comment 1 Chris Ward 2011-12-16 10:03:11 UTC
Is it possible to query using 'alias' instead of bug number?

No.

:-)

One thing that will need to be checked is the performance impact, especially on searches like 'depends on' 'contains any of the string' 'RHEL BZ FOO' for example. Even after coding this, we may not deploy it.
