Description
Upstream Release Monitoring
2011-05-09 10:40:27 UTC
Built for rawhide. Building for f15 right now. This fixes a segfault -- do we want to push it back to older Fedora releases and to EPEL? (In reply to comment #1) > Built for rawhide. Building for f15 right now. This fixes a segfault -- do we > want to push it back to older Fedora releases and to EPEL? Right now we've got 2.0.9 in EPEL 5, yet this is in the 2.1.0 changelog: * Python 2.4 no longer supported (may still work, but no longer tested) So, I'm not sure if we want to push this down to EL-5. Yeah. IIRC we are running the unittests, though. So it should catch anything that upstream would have "tested". I hate to leave a known segfault out there but I'm not sure that we want to push it back either. python-simplejson-2.1.6-1.fc15.1 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 15. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/python-simplejson-2.1.6-1.fc15.1 python-simplejson-2.1.6-1.fc14.1 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 14. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/python-simplejson-2.1.6-1.fc14.1 And backported the fix to EL-5's python-simplejson as well: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/python-simplejson-2.0.9-3.el5 Package python-simplejson-2.1.6-1.fc15.1: * should fix your issue, * was pushed to the Fedora 15 testing repository, * should be available at your local mirror within two days. Update it with: # su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing python-simplejson-2.1.6-1.fc15.1' as soon as you are able to. Please go to the following url: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/python-simplejson-2.1.6-1.fc15.1 then log in and leave karma (feedback). python-simplejson-2.1.6-1.fc14.1 has been pushed to the Fedora 14 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. python-simplejson-2.1.6-1.fc15.1 has been pushed to the Fedora 15 stable repository.
