Description of problem:
An extra slash in the path passed to createrepo results in an absolute path used in <location>, when the path does not end with a slash.

Specifically:
'createrepo /tmp//test' results in this unexpected behavior

Both of the below work as expected:
 createrepo /tmp/test
 createrepo /tmp//test/

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
createrepo-0.9.8-5.fc14.noarch

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Assume that '/tmp/tmp1/test_absolute' contains 2 rpms
2. cd /tmp/tmp1
3. `createrepo /tmp/tmp1//test_absolute`
  
Actual results:
<location href="/tmp/tmp1/test_absolute/pulp-large_100k_test-packageB-0.1.1-1.fc14.noarch.rpm"/>

Expected results:
<location href="pulp-large_100k_test-packageB-0.1.1-1.fc14.noarch.rpm"/>

Additional info:
Seen during integration with pulp.  It was unexpected that the having an extra '//' in the path while not ending the path with a '/' would result in different behavior.

John,
 I can't seem to make this happen.

Can you grab the createrepo from rawhide and see if it is gone for you, too.

This message is a notice that Fedora 14 is now at end of life. Fedora 
has stopped maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 14. It is 
Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no
