Description of problem:
In control-center -> 'Region and Language' I changed my language into norwegian. After reboot, Gnome is still in English. Control-center says language is Norwegian Bokmål though.

This still applies to Gnome 3.2 on Fedora 16.

This problem is still valid with latest gnome updates. I still can't change language in Gnome.

I'm seeing the same in rawhide (fc18) now. I also see that for some reason LANG is being set to the old no_NO locale instead of nb_NO which could be the reason it doesn't work.

LANG and LC_* should all be set to nb_NO.UTF-8 for things to work. Not sure which parts of the system are responsible for setting these during install or later though.

Hmm, works fine here. I selected bokmal, logged out, and then couldn't read anything anymore. It all looked Norwegian to me.

Not sure where to look for any problems here then. Could it be stored in my user profile somehow? gnome-control-center uses glibc to get the locale data, right? Could there be a problem with glibc maybe?

It started working here after a relabelling for selinux.
