Description Greg 2011-05-11 20:09:20 UTC
abrt version: 1.1.18
architecture: i686
Attached file: backtrace, 8032 bytes
cmdline: /usr/bin/pulseaudio --start --log-target=syslog
comment: This is a recurring problem, and I have yet to find a way to resolve the issue that does not involve (at best) killing pulseaudio, or (worst) rebooting.
component: pulseaudio
Attached file: coredump, 29884416 bytes
executable: /usr/bin/pulseaudio
kernel: 2.6.35.12-90.fc14.i686
package: pulseaudio-0.9.21-7.fc14
rating: 3
reason: Process /usr/bin/pulseaudio was killed by signal 11 (SIGSEGV)
release: Fedora release 14 (Laughlin)
time: 1304692662
uid: 500

How to reproduce
-----
1. Route pulseaudio through Jack via qjackctl, as outlined here: http://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/Fedora/14/html/Musicians_Guide/sect-Musicians_Guide-Integrating_PulseAudio_with_JACK.html
2. Allow the system to suspend or hibernate
3. Wake up the system.
4. Because system audio is no longer working, run $killall pulseaudio
