Do we have some codified hooks by which to call packagekit to get on demand languages/fonts installed for spell checking? -jef Python can interact with packagekit via dbus to request/install the needed packages. Fonts can be installed the same way. See: http://www.packagekit.org/pk-faq.html Jeff, I'll ping the upstream and see if they'll be willing to take a patch to make the packagekit magic happen when this error condition fires. Do you have the time to help me sketch out a working patch? This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 19 development cycle. Changing version to '19'. Spell-check does not work if the correct hunspell-language package is not installed. Instead, you get the error below, which does not provide any hints about how to fix the error.
