Description Ryan Rix 2011-05-14 04:10:46 UTC
Description of problem:
Directly after a preupgrade from Fedora 14 to Fedora 15 beta, my system does not properly boot. I can not really debug it properly, as I'm not sure how to, and https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/How_to_debug_Systemd_problems did not really provide me much help.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Will update when I can get to a live image where I can chroot in to it

How reproducible:
update from Fedora 14 to 15 using preupgrade

Actual results:
System doesn't boot properly, hanging when Xorg should come up, with kdm complaining that the xserver died.

Expected results:
KDM comes up and the desktop can log in

I'm going to keep assaulting it, but I'm at a loss for what to do.

This was my own fault, a mismatch of driver versions in xorg... Gonna close this now
