Can you reproduce this outside the specific environment where you found it? I tried unsuccessfully to reproduce it using the following: $ mkdir foo $ echo foo > foo/a.php $ touch foo/b.php $ rpl -x .php -Ri foo bar foo Replacing "foo" with "bar" (ignoring case) (partial words matched) .. A Total of 0 matches replaced in 2 files searched. (rpl-1.5.5-5.fc17.noarch) This message is a notice that Fedora 14 is now at end of life. Fedora has stopped maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 14. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained.
