Description of problem: When installing F15 beta with LXDE on ThinkPad X300, the installer shows a warning about missing "gnome" background package. 
After installing LXDE as only desktop environment, the system does not boot, i.e. kernel ist loeaded and then it boots to some shell without having the root file system mounted.
When ijnstalling LXDE together with KDE or gnome the system boots into text modus and after updating packages there is also a graphical modus.

How reproducible: Chose LXDE as only desktop environment during install & you'll get the above errors

I doubt that any of these issues has something to do with LXDE. Can you please try with RC3? Adam said that it should fix several issues in the compose.

Okay, maybe you're right and this is possibly an anaconda issue. 
The above described effect is to be seen only when LXDE is the only chosen desktop. I'll try RC3 later this evening.
