Description of problem:
qpid is missing pkgconfig files.  These files are necessary to properly test dependencies and determine runtime library names and paths.

qpid-1.0

There used to be one, but it was put in the wrong directory /usr/lib/pkgconfig
instead of /usr/lib64/pkgconfig. Now I notice that on F15 it's gone altogether.

It would be nice to be able to rely on a .pc file.

The qpid.rc file is deleted in the RPM spec file.  It should be installed instead.
