Description Misty Stanley-Jones 2011-05-17 05:03:58 UTC
20110517-1209 /error.xhtml

I logged in as IA and created two new tags:
JBoss Developer Studio
IDE

I tried to tag the first one as a technology and the second one as a concern, and both times, I got the following error:

Something bad happened :-(

Transaction failed
Another user changed the same data, please try again

I can't believe the error is accurate as I had only added the tags seconds before. I logged out, cleared cookies, logged back in, but still the same error.

I saw this error this morning, but in the process of trying to debug it, it started working again. I don't know what would be causing it, but I suspect it might be a hang up with the AS server or the MySQL server.

I don't get the error now, but I also don't get the expected behavior. The tags are not actually saved, or at least the fact that they are saved is not apparent. The "Tag Categories" column is not populated, and if I go back into the tags for the Tag, none are set.

The issue is still there - related to http://www.mkyong.com/hibernate/hibernate-many-to-many-example-join-table-extra-column-annotation/
