Description of problem:
The alt-tab binding dont always work when the mouse is in the middle of the
screen (inside the window

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Move the mouse pointer in the middle of the screen where the alt-tab little
window should appear
2. Press alt-tab
3. Release alt-tab

Actual Results:  Sometimes the little window stay on top in the middle of the
screen, I have to click in it to make it disappear and the focused window is
still the same. It's not possible to presse again alt-tab to "unlock".. But
moving the mouse and pressing alt-tab after works ...

Expected Results:  Should change the focused window.

Do you use sloppy focus or click-to-focus?

Can you try the latest metacity 2.4.0 when it appears in Rawhide?
