Not going to happen for RHEL5; this is actually a kernel bug where kernel drivers simply do not correctly support AdHoc WPA mode correctly. This is fixed upstream in NM 0.9.8 with real AP mode support and RSN WPA2 support will be added upstream for 0.9.10. |
