Always? I doubt that. Here it has never crashed before like that with Fedora 14 x86_64. You are the only one so far in the history of Fedora 14.

The backtrace is deep within GTK+/GLib/bonobo/ORBit, only mentioning of the netspeed applet is at the very beginning:

#67 0x00000000004091ad in main (argc=1, argv=0x7fff177ea748) at netspeed.c:1710

Steps 66 to 1 are outside netspeed.
