Description Trevor McKay 2011-05-18 15:50:49 UTC
Description of problem:

Noticed during review that Section 2.1, Installing Sesame, paragraph 4 cites old defaults for the sasldb configuration and Sesame authentication.

Sesame no longer uses guest by default, it uses anonymous, and the sasldb is not installed by default. This section needs treatment similar to credential set up for cumin/condor.

The software will work correctly out of the box, but the doc is misleading. If anonymous authentication is turned off, the user may be left wondering why Sesame does not work.

New list item for section 2.1, authentication subsection

This is a new list item that goes under "Configuring the MRG Messaging Broker for Authentication of the MRG Management Console and MRG Grid" in section 2.1, following the current list item for MRG Grid credentials.

This content is essential if anonymous authorization is turned off in the broker. In that case, sesame will not function without credentials.

Modifications for Section 2.1, "Installing Sesame"

Minor edits are to "Installing Sesame" are also included in this content, based on feedback from review.

However, the essential changes are in subparagrah 4 which deals with configuring authentication cedentials and refers back to the content in the first attachment.
