Description Timothy Grondin 2011-05-18 17:02:34 UTC
Description of problem:
The hp-setup software needs wget to download drivers for certain printers. Installing hplip-gui does not automatically install wget causing misleading errors about network connectivity.

The problem was detected on a clean fedora 15 beta install with all updates to current date. Printer model for reference is a hp laserjet p1102w.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install hplip
2. Try and install printer that requires driver download
3. Printer fails to install if wget is not installed.

Actual results:

Expected results:
It should download the driver and install the printer.
