Description of problem:
System freezes after maximize button in Konsole pressed if KDE desktop effects enabled.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
xorg-x11-server-1.10.1-14.fc15
xorg-x11-drv-nvidia.270.41.06.1.fc15

How reproducible:
Every time.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enable KDE desktop effects (with nvidia proprietary driver), restart KDE.
2. Open Konsole window.
3. Press close button.
  
Actual results:
System freezes for a few seconds.

The nvidia driver is non-free software that is not in fedora and we don't have it's source code.
Can't fix.
You might want to try nouveau, the free, open source driver for nvidia cards which is default in fedora.

I filed bug here because it specific to xorg-x11-server 1.10.x, no such problem in 1.9.x so problem maybe not in nvidia driver.
See bug 533620 it was closed as CANTFIX but then xorg-x11-server was fixed.

Workaround is running Konsole with

'konsole --notransparency'

NVIDIA released 275.09.07 driver that fixes this bug.
