Description Prarit Bhargava 2011-05-19 15:59:46 UTC
Description of problem:

The "Kernel Options" fields do not populate correctly after the recent upgrade.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 6.11

How reproducible: 100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Take a system.
2. Attempt to Provision.
3. Wait for Kernel Options fields to populate.

Actual results: Fields do not populate.

Expected results: Field should display something like "console=tty0 console=ttyS0,115200n81"

Additional info: Seen after upgrade.

This is due to a javascript error in the Install Options widget which occurs when viewing a system which you do not have admin access to. That error aborts script execution on the page, so the Provision widget is not populated properly.

We are working on a hot fix now, to be released later today.

Beaker 0.6.11-2 has been released, which fixes this issue.
