Could you attach an output from printing troubleshooter ? thanks
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Printing/Debugging#Printing_troubleshooter

Also what does 'rpm -q hplip cups' command say ?

Had the printer been working before ?
Have you changed anything in your configuration that could be related to this ?

Comment 2 David 2011-05-21 01:03:17 UTC
hplib is not installed. I ran a search for hplib on add/remove programs to make the update.

Comment 3 David 2011-05-21 01:05:05 UTC
[root@USB ~]# rpm -q hplip cups
package hplip is not installed
cups-1.4.6-1.fc14.i686

Comment 4 Jiri Popelka 2011-05-23 07:29:47 UTC
How did you configure the printer queue ?

You need hplip to use this printer.
Please install it with 'yum install hplip'
and create the printer queue again.

If it doesn't help, then please attach output from printing troubleshooter

Please run the printing troubleshooter: System > Administration > Printing from the GNOME menu, then Help > Troubleshoot from the menu bar. This will ask a series of questions about the problem you are experiencing, with the aim of finding the reason for the problem.

One step in this process is to print a test page. There is a button in the troubleshooter to print a test page for you. The print job will appear in the troubleshooting window -- just put a tick in the box next to that print job to say that it is the one you are having trouble with.

You will be given the option to save the diagnostic information collected during the troubleshooting process in a file named troubleshoot.txt. Please attach that file to this bug report. This is the most helpful thing you can add to a bug report.
Thanks!

Could you please try changing the device URI as mentioned in bug #709182 comment #2?

Comment 12 Fedora End Of Life 2012-08-16 16:34:17 UTC
This message is a notice that Fedora 14 is now at end of life. Fedora
has stopped maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 14. It is
Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no
longer maintained. At this time, all open bugs with a Fedora 'version'
of '14' have been closed as WONTFIX.

(Please note: Our normal process is to give advanced warning of this
occurring, but we forgot to do that. A thousand apologies.)

Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you
plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, feel free to reopen
this bug and simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version.

Bug Reporter: Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that
we were unable to fix it before Fedora 14 reached end of life. If you
would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it
against a later version of Fedora, you are encouraged to click on
"Clone This Bug" (top right of this page) and open it against that
version of Fedora.

Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's
lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a
more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes
bugs or makes them obsolete.

The process we are following is described here:
