Description Harald Reindl 2011-05-20 07:52:48 UTC
We having a couple of CISCO 7906 and a CISCO 7941 via SIP/DHCP
After update to asterisk-1.6.2.18-1.fc14.i686 they were
no longer displayed in "sip show peers"

very interesting:
Linksys SPA901 is working even over WAN and this was my test from home after the update, so i did not expect lose the CISCO-Phones on the internal LAN

after downgrade to 1.6.2.17 they came all back

Please report this issue upstream at:

https://issues.asterisk.org/

The SIP stack in Asterisk is complex and I do not have the experience with the SIP stack, nor do I have the hardware to debug and fix your problem.

Please post a link to the bug report so that I can track the progress of the bug.

I've put some scratch packages of 1.6.2.19-rc1 up at:

http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=3166751

If these packages don't fix your problems, please report the issue to Digium ASAP so that the fixes can get applied as the 1.6.2.* series is going EOL soon.

thank you for your feedback - sorry for my delay -> vacation
i upgraded yet to 1.6.2.19 from updates-testing

for now it seems the phobnes are connected OK, but AFAIK with 1.6.2.18 they lost their connect also later, not sure because my tests was SIP over WAN without expect that the local can have troubles if this works

i will on monday reconnect one to see if this is right after
tftp-boot and if all works ok inform you to close this bug

this bug can be closed because 1.6.2.19 works without any issue
