Description of problem:
The cache directory configured for dmapd by the RPM is incorrect.  /etc/dmapd.conf defines the Database-Dir as /var/db/dmapd, but the RPM creates /var/cache/dmapd.  Also, the cache directory needs subdirectories of DAAP and DPAP to be present or dmapd won't cache anything.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install dmapd
2. configure a music share
3. start dmapd
  
Actual results:
no caching is performed

Expected results:
dmapd caches the metadata

I just submitted updates for Fedora 16, 17, and Rawhide. I am not going to update 14 or 15.

Package dmapd-0.0.47-2.fc17:
* should fix your issue,
* was pushed to the Fedora 17 testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:
# su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing dmapd-0.0.47-2.fc17'
as soon as you are able to.
