After installing single alias on eth0, the rp3 program would no longer
execute.  It would segfault.

When the alias is removed, rp3 works fine.

Try

and see if it fixes the problem for you.

The latest initscripts (4.71) from RawHide and see if they, together, fix
the problem.

This bug has been untouched for almost two months.  I'm going to assume the
original reporter has solved the problem.
