I would try a new version, but it would be nice if you could pinpoint to what version was broken? Use that one or try to use ALSA or OSS? I don't know where to ask for PulseAudio/Wine support. I would recommend voting, but _not commenting_ here http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10495. This has been a big issue. It seems to be fixed in newer versions. . |
Since wine 1.3.19 I get the following crash while staring Starcraft II (only happens with pulse plug-in): ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xC0000005) occurred at 0023:00000000. The memory at '0x00000000' could not be read. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------- Manual Stack Trace (ID:41 Stack:0x03CA0000 + 8,388,608 "Main Thread") ---------------------------------------- DBG-ADDR<00000000>("") F05E533B mmdevapi.dll MMDevEnum_Create+427 DBG-ADDR<F05E5F6B>("mmdevapi.dll") 7E4D25B8 ole32.dll CoCreateInstance+648 DBG-ADDR<0FE2DB48>("fmodex_4_28_08.dll") DBG-ADDR<0FE26A13>("fmodex_4_28_08.dll") DBG-ADDR<0FE52B61>("fmodex_4_28_08.dll") DBG-ADDR<00F88724>("SC2.exe") DBG-ADDR<00F8929F>("SC2.exe") DBG-ADDR<00809417>("SC2.exe") DBG-ADDR<0080A2D5>("SC2.exe") DBG-ADDR<0080A570>("SC2.exe") ---------------------------------------- DbgHelp Stack Trace (ID:41 Stack:0x03CA0000 + 8,388,608 "Main Thread") ---------------------------------------- DBG-ADDR<00000000>("") (00000188,00000002,0449EB46,0449EBA8) F05E533B mmdevapi.dll MMDevEnum_Create+427 (0FEB6700,0449ECC8,00000020,00350008) DBG-ADDR<F05E5F6B>("mmdevapi.dll") (F05F0C0C,00000000,0FEB6700,0449ECC8) 7E4D25B8 ole32.dll CoCreateInstance+648 (0FEB66F0,00000000,00000017,0FEB6700) DBG-ADDR<0FE2DB48>("fmodex_4_28_08.dll") (00000000,0449EEC8,0449EEB0,00000000) DBG-ADDR<0FE26A13>("fmodex_4_28_08.dll") (00000006,0449EED4,00F88724,08E10414) DBG-ADDR<0FE52B61>("fmodex_4_28_08.dll") (08E10414,00000000,00000000,0449F27C) DBG-ADDR<00F88724>("SC2.exe") (00000001,00808A3B,015AE208,00000000) DBG-ADDR<00F8929F>("SC2.exe") (7B810000,0004005E,00000000,00000000) DBG-ADDR<00809417>("SC2.exe") (01409C28,00000000,00000000,00000000) DBG-ADDR<0080A2D5>("SC2.exe") (0360A258,0033FD1C,7B8975E4,00000001) DBG-ADDR<0080A570>("SC2.exe") (0033FDF8,00000000,00000000,00000000)
