Yes, I got the same problem when I was installing honeyd. I was thinking about yum downgrade libevent and havenot done it yet. does any one tried that? i tried downgrade libevent,but system does not allow to.....Can anyone solve this problem? very urgent... Thanks. Also exists on Rawhide - reported as bug 712446. Does NOT exist on F14 which has libevent-1.4.so.2. honeyd-1.5c-14.fc15 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 15. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/honeyd-1.5c-14.fc15 honeyd-1.5c-14.fc15 has been pushed to the Fedora 15 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. |
Description of problem: It appears that the honeyd package currently provided in the Fedora 15 repository is linked against a older version of libevent. This results in a failure when attempting to install the honeyd package.
