Description Brandon 2011-05-22 07:05:44 UTC
Description of problem:
Cheese seems to lag immensely while trying to record video. I have a 2.16Ghz processor with 1MB of L2 cache and the recording process still lags. It lags with both 640x480 and 320x240 resolution. I use the Sony Playstation Eye as my camera too.

Fedora 14 has reached end of life and is no longer supported, please try again with a newer Fedora version.

Note that doing realtime video encoding is quite CPU intensive, and unfortunately at this moment we don't support GPU assisted encoding. On my core i5 encoding at 320x240 works, but 640x480 is too high a resolution!.
