Comment 1 Daniel Berrangé 2011-05-23 10:07:00 UTC
'qemuctl' is not something that ships in QEMU upstream. Either the qemu-launcher package should be fixed to not depend on components that aren't in Fedora, or qemuctl should be added as a package. In either case, this isn't a bug in the core 'qemu' package.

Comment 2 Raphael Groner 2011-05-23 18:20:03 UTC
The package qemu-launcher is orphaned in Fedora. Therefore, I tried to report against qemu.

Should I request a package for qemuctl?

Comment 3 Daniel Berrangé 2011-05-24 08:51:27 UTC
There's no point adding the qemuctl package to Fedora, unless there is first someone willing to volunteer as a new maintainer for qemu-launcher. Orphaned packages are periodically purged from Fedora unless a new maintainer is found.

Comment 4 Raphael Groner 2011-11-30 14:22:17 UTC
Orphaned?

Comment 5 Cole Robinson 2012-07-19 20:37:46 UTC
Yes qemu-launcher is orphaned and no longer maintained in Fedora.
