Because the affected component is not scheduled to be updated in the current release, Red Hat is unfortunately unable to address this request at this time. Red Hat invites you to ask your support representative to propose this request, if appropriate and relevant, in the next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. If you would like it considered as an exception in the current release, please ask your support representative. What is the type of graphic card where the artifacts are observed? There were some problems with Intel driver (component xorg-x11-drv-intel): #673153 - emacs misdraws cursor and some other things when compositing is active #512279 - screen corruption on intel, fixed with nomodesetIt might be similar to #587004 - Cursor completly hides the glyph underneath it #487757 - emacs redisplay extremely slow #516465 - graphics display corrupted on certain intel video cards Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 0c) Thank you. Reassigning to Intel X.org driver for further investigation, because this bug previously occurred in the Intel driver in Fedora. Do you still see this in current 6.2 images? seems good now, thanks! |
