Note Same issue is there in F15 (I have verified it), as well as I have seen reports of the same issue being there in F13.

Same problem in F14. To be precise about my case, it's any time I try to bring up a file selection window (open, save as, font selection, import*, export, append, load image, save rendered image).

Manually specifying a filename on the commandline works for loading and I can save the same file. In order to create a new file, I have to manually copy .B.blend and specify the new file on the commandline. CTRL+O works to open recent files.

* Import initially displays a selection window for objects in the most recent file, but if I try to select anything outside of that file, it crashes.

Comment 4 Max Kessler 2011-07-01 23:04:34 UTC
Oops, that footnote should have been about append, not import. Append initially brings up a window.
