Have you started firewalld with the service command? What is the output of "ls -laZ /var/log/firewalld"? (In reply to comment #1) > Have you started firewalld with the service command? Yes. It is not clear if I have to turn off something (iptables... ?) > What is the output of "ls -laZ /var/log/firewalld"? ls -laZ /var/log/firewalld -rw-r--r--. root root system_u:object_r:firewalld_var_log_t:s0 /var/log/firewalld If you want to test firewalld, you do not need to turn off iptables and ip6tables services. If you want to switch to firewalld, use "lokkit--disabled" and enable the firewalld service. start firewalld with "service firewalld start". Using firewalld is working for me with SELinux enabled and there is no problem at all. Please add more information on when this happens. ok, wait. how do I configure firewalld? how do I get notifications? it says I should use firewall-config but it's not provided. I'm sorry, I just don't know how to use it. I've relabeled my system and, it seems, this doesn't happen anymore... I am sorry for the late answer. Please use firewall-cmd for now to configure firewalld. The graphical config tool is not finished yet. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 693987 *** |
