Description of problem:

When running cheese under GNOME 3 displaying webcam picture, if you select the Activities button (or press the windows key) the displayed picture from the webcam is lost and a black screen is displayed. Even when exiting the Activities mode the screen remains black and the webcam output can only be displayed by stopping and restating cheese.

How reproducible:

Happens every time the activities mode is entered.


Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run cheese displaying webcam picture under GNOME 3
2. Enter activities mode (e.g. press Windows key)
3. Exit activities mode
  
Actual results:

Picture window turns black and remains black.


Expected results:

Either picture returns to webcam display when activities mode is exited, or he webcam display should never be lost at all.

Hi,

This sounds like an issue with the driver for your graphicscard / gpu to me. What sort of graphicscard do you have (Intel/Ati/Nvidia) ?
