Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Verify that nfs and autofs packages are installed
2. vi /etc/auto.master
   Add line to auto.master
   /- /etc/auto.dir_share
3. touch /etc/auto.dir_share
   vi /etc/auto.dir_share
   Add
   /mnt/dir_share -fstype=nfs,soft client_hostname:/dir_share

On Server Box:
4. vi /etc/exports
   /dir_share client_hostname(rw,insecure,no_root_squash,sync)
5. exportfs –a
6. service nfs restart
7. exportfs
8. showmount –e localhost # should show directory client hostname
9. chkconfig --list nfs (lvl 35 on)
10. service nfs start

Back to Client Box:
Restart service client
11. service autofs restart

Verify that path is mounted
12. ls /mnt/file
ls directory not found or does not exist

Actual results:

Comment 2 Jaime R Perez 2011-06-03 15:23:14 UTC
manual mount also would not mount...
SELinux firewall has ports. nmap confirms. downgraded to the the same version. Turn off iptables. It started to work

Comment 3 Jaime R Perez 2011-09-08 18:34:31 UTC
downgraded package

Comment 7 Jeremy West 2012-02-07 16:13:30 UTC
Jamie,

I'm going to go ahead and close this bug. Our engineering team doesn't have much to go off of in terms of finding a fix and I see that you've closed out your support case since your team implemented the workaround of using the older package.

We're more than happy to reopen this bug ... should we need to continue investigating this issue. If that's the case, please reopen the customer case and we'll continue.

Thanks
Jeremy West
