Would it be possible to have an EPEL branch of this package? I would like to see this package on EPEL 6.

If you don't have time, I'd be willing to become a co-maintainer, and carry the EPEL versions myself.

This build worked for me in a quick test - it allowed me to install a Wordpress plugin without error.

/var/log/secure says: 

Aug 17 02:47:41 sully sshd[18396]: Accepted password for wordpress from 10.1.1.46 port 52578 ssh2
Aug 17 02:47:41 sully sshd[18396]: pam_unix(sshd:session): session opened for user wordpress by (uid=0)
Aug 17 02:47:41 sully sshd[18398]: subsystem request for sftp
Aug 17 02:47:41 sully sshd[18398]: Received disconnect from 10.1.1.46: 11: PECL/ssh2 (http://pecl.php.net/packages/ssh2)
Aug 17 02:47:41 sully sshd[18396]: pam_unix(sshd:session): session closed for user wordpress

Appears to be functioning properly.  Thanks!

Package php-pecl-ssh2-0.11.0-7.el6:
* should fix your issue,
* was pushed to the Fedora EPEL 6 testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:
# su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=epel-testing php-pecl-ssh2-0.11.0-7.el6'
as soon as you are able to.

php-pecl-ssh2-0.11.0-7.el6 has been pushed to the Fedora EPEL 6 stable repository.  If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
