Description of problem:

Attempting to setup an rvm environment, I get an error message instead.

rubygem-rvm-1.0.19-2.fc15.noarch


How reproducible:

100%


Steps to Reproduce:
1. run rvm-install

An error message and no environment.

Actually, I am not sure what to do with this gem. Upstream gem doesn't provide core RVM functionality anymore, so there should be provided something like independent 'rvm' package. Unfortunately, RVM is mainly designed to live in your home directory [1], which is not suitable for packaging

The rubygem-rvm was retired in F17/rawhide, since upstream does not provide in gem its original functionality and it doesn't seem there is going to be any better Fedora integration available soon.
